QA Lead

We are looking for a QA Lead to make our team even stronger. Currently we have 1 agile team (frontend and backend developers, QA manual, QA auto) and building 2-nd team. As QA Lead, you will look after manual and automated testing teams, support and improve current QA processes, present our work to customer.

Project: high demanded web application for well-known food service. It's a new project, started during Spring 2021, for our UK client. We're building a new website hosted in Azure, which will gradually replace current platform.

Stack: Vue.js/.NET, JavaScript (Cypress) for automated testing, Azure DevOps


Must have:

  • 3+ years working as an Agile tester within development teams in sprint (Scrum, Kanban type environments).
  • Strong knowledge of the STLC, testing methodologies, types and best practices.
  • English level - Upper-Intermediate+
  • Comfortable leading from the front, managing, talking with clients and representing themselves with stakeholders.
  • Experience with test automation.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with test automation using JavaScript (Cypress).
  • Development background.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud.
  • Experience with lower-level testing, unit testing or component integration as an example.
  • Hiring experience.


  • Oversee and steer the QA approach and communications around quality.
  • Present work of the QA team.
  • Contribute to the further development and improvement of the current automated testing framework and tooling.
  • Investigate issues reported from production (Splunk and NewRelic are used for monitoring).
  • Take part in all relevant SCRUM ceremonies and activities and represent the established quality approach.
